Paraffin is a softening treatment for dry, damaged skin. It hydrates and soothes the skin and temporarily relieves pain caused by arthritis, bursitis and chronic inflammation of the joints. In addition to promoting muscle relaxation, paraffin alleviates muscle stiffness and stimulates blood flow. Furthermore, it serves as deep heat therapy when used with heated mittens or booties.

Suitable for: Suitable for all skin types, particularly dry skin.

Suggested use

• If necessary, break the paraffin before opening the bag.
• Remove the lid.
• Empty contents into the bath and heat to 130 °F (54.4 °C) using the automatic control.
• Put the lid back on.
• Follow the instructions on how to apply paraffin in the Therabath Paraffin Bath Operator’s Manual.

Caution**

* Wax is flammable (with a flash point of about 350 °F)

* Do not heat the paraffin in a plastic bag.

* Do not put this product in the microwave. 

* For external use only.

* This paraffin is designed to be used with paraffin baths and to transfer heat. 

* This product has no pharmaceutical effect.
