Allantoin & Panthenol

Allantoin

Allantoin is a perennial plant derived from Symphytum x uplandicum and is known for its healing and repairing effects. It is also an excellent moisturizing agent.

Properties of allantoin: healing, repairing, regenerating, hydrating.

Panthenol

This active ingredient is converted to vitamin B5 in the skin. Often called the “beauty vitamin” or the “queen of skin vitamins”, panthenol improves hydration thanks to its ability to penetrate the deep skin layers.  Pantothenic acid also has a calming and anti-irritant effect on the skin. The skin left looking beautiful and bursting with enduring softness.

Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar-like component of the extracellular matrix that has the ability to attract and hold large amounts of water (up to 1000 times its own weight in water) by forming an elastic gel. This ability, among others, is what provides young skin with volume and elasticity. With age, the amount of hyaluronic acid in the skin gradually diminishes and the skin loses its bounce. Its hydrating and replenishing effect act like a cushioning agent on the surface of the skin: it saturates the tissues, smooths features and evenly replumps the face.

Properties of hyaluronic acid: hydrating, replenishing, replumping.

 

 

Suggested use

Apply on scarred areas and promote penetration with light circular massage strokes. Repeat daily until scars disappear.
